|
rodeo & western celebration
(dubbed the "Daddy of 'em
All"), the foundation
remains the same:
volunteerism, civic
participation, visitors
beyond counting, everyone in
a festive spirit and the
stellar rodeo. In the arena,
Frontier Days has showcased
performances by cowboys and
cowgirls whose names roll
off the tongue like magic.
Rodeo clowns and
bullfighters have had the
crowds gasping in suspense
one minute and laughing with
tearful mirth the next.
Some of the additional
attractions to be seen
during the celebration
include: Unforgettable
entertainment by some of the
biggest names in music and
professional rodeo; A huge
carnival/midway that
provides fun for the entire
family; Free pancake
breakfasts that attract tens
of thousands of hungry
visitors; Colorful
demonstrations of Native
American arts and culture; A
world-class art show and
sale; A spectacular air show
by the U.S.A.F.
Thunderbirds; Three grand
parades featuring one of the
world's largest collections
of horse-drawn vehicles.
