1. Where can I get snow attire?
Wal-Mart, about 4 miles away from the hotel, 2750 S. Woodlands Village Blvd., (928) 773-1117. Target, 3.5 miles from the hotel, 1650 S. Milton Rd., (928) 774-3500. The Flagstaff Mall, about 4 miles from the hotel, 4650 N. Highway 89, (928) 527-8692.
 
2. Where can I play in the snow (i.e. snowboarding, skiing, sledding)?
Arizona Snowbowl is Flagstaff's only skiing and snowboarding area. Located 14 miles Northwest from the hotel. For additional places and information about available snow sports in the area, view the Flagstaff Winter Recreation Map, provided courtesy the Flagstaff Convention and Visitors Bureau.
 
3. How much does it cost to get into Arizona Snowbowl? What are their hours? Do they have any packages?

4. What is there to do in Flagstaff?
Flagstaff is full of fun things to do. You could visit the Lowell Observatory, the Riordon Mansion, the Museum of Northern Arizona, the Pioneer Museum, the Arboretum, go ice skating, bowling, go skiing or hiking at Arizona Snowbowl, and/or horseback riding.
 
5. What is there to do in the area?
Flagstaff is the perfect hub-and-spoke location to visit Grand Canyon National Park and numerous National Monuments, Historic locations and Lowell Observatory. Please see the Concierge for details.

6. Are there places to go hiking/biking?
Hiking trails can be found all throughout the San Francisco peaks, Mt. Elden and Walnut Canyon. For biking, Schultz Pass Road is the best trail.
 
7. Where can I go fishing?
Lake Mary, Sedona trout farm or Oak Creek.
 
8. Where is a good place to eat other than at the hotel?
There are many places to go and eat in Flagstaff. Top five for breakfast: La Bellavia, Brandy's, Miz Zips Café. Top five for lunch: Busters, Our Daily Bread, Macy's Café, Casa Bonita, China Star Buffet. Top five for dinner: Cottage Place, Jackson's Grill, Pasto's, Sakura, Black Bart's.
 
9. Where can I go and see the leaves change?
Drive up to Snowbowl and ride on the scenic ski ride or through Oak Creek Canyon (on the route to Sedona), and/or through Highway 180.
 
10. How far is Phoenix from Flagstaff?
A two and a half hour drive, approximately 149 miles.
 
11. How far is Sedona from Flagstaff?
Approximately 30 miles, taking 45 minutes to drive.
 
12. What is there to do in Sedona?
Fishing, shopping, jeep rides, Slide Rock State Park, hiking through the red rocks, hot air balloon rides, horseback rides, visit the Vortex, art galleries, Imax theater, golf, or sample one of the exquisite restaurants.
 
13. How far is Grand Canyon National Park from Flagstaff?
Approximately 80 miles, taking about an hour and a half driving.
 
14. What is there to do at Grand Canyon National Park?
Rim coach tours, ATV tours, horseback rides, hiking, white water rafting, air tours (helicopter or airplane), the Imax theater, visit the view points, shop or take the Grand Canyon Railway scenic tour.
